I was a professor, which is not as uninteresting as it sounds nor as irrelevant to my photographic aspirations as it may appear.

Project Statement

I photograph to explore and gain perspective, not to document something or make a case for some cause or persuasion. To the extent I have achieved a perspective it is that “nature” is that portion of our environment we would like to exist forever, and that nothing is really natural because nothing is permanent.
