I don't believe in dogmas and theologies. I just believe in being a good person. -

Photographic Influences

Almost too many to name. Jack Pierson, William Eggleston, Henri Cartier Bresson, Robert Doisneau, Stephen Shore, Nan Goldin, Joel Meyerowitz, Joel Sternfeld, Martin Parr, Alec Soth, Robert Frank.

Photographic Education

Self taught, or better, taught by the work of photographers I admire and looking through photo books. Very important in my education has also been the advice of and the discussions with my friend, photographer and teacher James Friedman.

Recent Photographic Project

I am working on a project called 526 > 593, this is the world heritage site “Middle Rhine Valley” in Germany. This area is full of mystical history and the romantic clichés of a fairytale landscape. Most Interesting Assignment or Previous Occupation?

Working on every project is something special and something I love to do. Most of my projects have involved travel or been focused on ‘other’ places rather than home. This of course is a fascinating way to see and record the world and also to experience different lives.

Project Statement

Lands Of Milk And Honey
This series concerns the private landscapes we create for ourselves in public places – perfect moments and dream states. Elegant cities and gardens, during the most glorious seasons of the year, provide the setting for picnics, play, relaxation and laughter.
