I practiced architecture for over forty years. That was interesting.

Project Statement

Pole Tacks Posted notices are a primitive mode of communication in the information age, but a form that is still in common use. Low-tech and short-lived, they can nevertheless reflect real human concerns. The postings invariably confront the public with appeals: come to our event; buy my bike; help me find my dog; remember our son. Such messages, or vestiges of them, can be engaging artifacts, small stories, visual poems. Finding those is what this project is about.
